We don’t just do some research and perpetuate common advice and beliefs found on the internet. We’ve lived with Dachshund for, collectively, over 100 years and can back up what we say with personal experience.

Just call me The Dachshund Lady.
I’ve been owned by Dachshunds for over 17 years.
I’ve cared for many other Dachshunds through my 5 years of experience as Dachshund walker and sitter (yes, only wiener dogs).
I am the president of a 1,000+ members social club for Dachshunds and their owners – The Adventureweiner Club – that I started almost 10 years.
I’ve also spent the last 9 years researching the breed, educating Dachshund owners in person and online, and providing expert interviews.
To say I’m a Dachshund fanatic is an understatement.
When I’m not writing for, and managing, this website, you can find me traveling, camping, and hiking with my husband and two Dachshunds.
